My Writing Process Blog Tour

Greetings, mortals. You stand in the glorious presence of the great…That sounds rather pretentious.  Old habits, and all. Let me start again.Hello, humans. I’m a fantasy author with a name you couldn’t pronounce. Humans often call me D. Wilder. I suppose the D must stand for dragon. I was recently invited by the wonderful Crazy Idealist herself to join a blog tour for writers to talk about their writing process. Who is the Crazy Idealist you might ask? First, slap yourself for not knowing. Go on, I’ll wait. Good. Second, let me offer you her bio:

"Charlotte Ashlock works for Berrett-Koehler Publishers, which specializes in nonfiction books about making the world a better place.  In her free time, she writes YA fantasy, rants about social justice online, and spends time with her seven roommates and twelve chickens."

Part of a Blog Tour!

I've recently been asked by the lovely Charlotte Ashlock, The Crazy Idealist herself, to participate in her writer's blog tour. Why she thinks I've anything interesting to say I'll never know. But I'm flattered nonetheless, and flattery does a dragon's ego good. So, I agreed.

Black Collar Fan Art

Just getting the hang of using blogspot. Testing a few things out before actually posting any stories. Once I start posting The Black Collar, it will be located in its own Blog thread titled, you guessed it, The Black Collar.

The first installment has a total of 8 chapters, which will be posted either in one immense blog, or in 8 separate blogs.

Hello, World. Welcome to The Wilder Lands.

Perhaps you already know my writing under one name or another, or perhaps you're new to my work. Either way, welcome.

The Wilder Lands will feature serialized fantasy novels by D. Wilder. For now, all novels and excerpts posted can be considered Works In Progress, and rough drafts. I hope you'll enjoy watching the stories grow as much as I do.

The Wilder Lands will begin with the first installment of The Black Collar. The Black Collar concerns a dragon bound against his will by the power of the titular artifact to protect a wilderness town. If you like dragons or fantasy in general, or if you want to see another side of fantasy's most classic creature, I hope you'll give it a read.
